The primary areas of responsibility for a cook include preparing nutritious meals, demonstrating appropriate kitchen skills and maintaining the kitchen located in the dining hall. The Cook reports to the Senior Director for Programs (Ranch) and must maintain a healthy value system, including moral and ethical behavior consistent with the agency's mission and core values.


New Posting Case Manager (Boys Ranch)

The Case Manager (Boys Ranch) is responsible for providing social services to children, youth and families that are consistent with the MCH Model of Care and ensuring a safe, caring and therapeutic environment for those served. This position requires the intellectual and emotional maturity to work with children, youth and families who are experiencing difficulty in providing appropriate care for the children in their care and children who have behavioral issues, developmental delays and mental health needs. This position also requires respect and compassionate understanding for these children, youth and families, and the ability to form effective working relationships with children and parents/guardians/managing conservators. Case Managers must have a thorough understanding of and demonstrated competency in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and other evidence-based programs offered in the assigned area. The Case Manager must maintain a healthy value system, including moral and ethical behavior consistent with the agency's mission and core values.


The Resident Advisor monitors the Independent Living apartments and homes and ensures the residents follow program guidelines. The Resident Advisor provides encouragement and guidance to the residents to promote a safe and positive community of young adults. The Resident Advisor must exhibit the intellectual and emotional maturity required to work with residents who have social challenges and need assistance in preparation for transitioning to independence due to developmental delays, mental health needs and trauma. This position requires respect and compassionate understanding for the residents and the ability to balance the need for nurture and structure and effectively model and teach independent living skills. The Resident Advisor must have the ability to form and maintain healthy relationships with the residents and co-workers, effectively communicate with others, solve problems and regulate their own behavior in all situations. Youth Care Counselor

Home Parents

Full-time home-parent couples work seven days on and seven days off. Home Parents care for and supervise youth in placement and implement the MCH model of care in homes on the assigned residential campus. Home Parents in the Independent Living program supervise adults ages 18-25.
